Enrolment is currently open to employees of Energy Efficiency Group (EEG) only. Anyone else can register their interest. EESI provides practical training pathways that support installers entering the industry, workers upskilling for retrofit programs, and employer teams building consistent capability. Industry refresher training and CPD support is available for installers who need to maintain currency under recognised industry programs.
Certified Insulation Installer pathway — four separately assessed NRT units plus EEC001-IND — Industry insulation retrofitting (non-accredited), currently available to employees of Energy Efficiency Group (EEG) only. The pathway is not one TGA qualification.
First Aid (HLTAID011) is nationally recognised training. Working at Heights and other industry-only products are clearly identified as non-accredited training.
Industry Refresher Course to help installers maintain currency.
Training recognition: Energy Efficiency Skills Institute is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 46127). Nationally recognised training is delivered only where a course is listed as accredited or includes nationally recognised units of competency. Some short courses may be non-accredited industry training.
