Combined with a White Card and on-site experience, this gives you the practical skills and formal recognition employers look for.

A White Card (general construction induction) is required to work on Australian construction sites. Our Certified Insulation Installer Course includes CPCCWHS2001, which is the unit used to issue a White Card in most states — check your state regulator for the card application step.

No. Our entry-level training is designed for people with no insulation experience, as well as trade workers moving across from other parts of construction.

Short courses run from half a day to one day. The Certified Insulation Installer Course typically runs across four to five days depending on prior experience and assessment progress.

Choose your course, select Enrol Now and complete the enrolment form. You'll need your personal details, a Unique Student Identifier (USI) and payment of the course fee. Our training team confirms your place and scheduled dates by email.

A Unique Student Identifier is a free number required by law for anyone undertaking nationally recognised training in Australia. You can create one at usi.gov.au in a few minutes — you'll need a form of ID such as a driver licence or passport.

Course fees are paid securely by card at the enrolment step. Employers booking group training can request an invoice by contacting info@eesi.edu.au.

Yes, subject to our published Fees, Charges & Refunds Policy. Refund eligibility depends on how much notice you give before your scheduled training date. Full details are on the Fees, Charges & Refunds page.

EESI delivers training Australia-wide, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and regional locations. Employer group training can be delivered on your site or at a nominated venue.

Assessment combines written or verbal knowledge questions with observed practical tasks. Your trainer explains the requirements before assessment begins, and reasonable adjustment is available where it does not compromise the standard.

Photo identification, your USI, enclosed safety footwear and appropriate work clothing. Any additional PPE or equipment required for a specific course is confirmed in your enrolment email.

Yes. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and credit transfer are available. Contact our training team before enrolling so we can assess the evidence you can provide.

For courses containing nationally recognised units, successful participants receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Energy Efficiency Skills Institute (RTO 46127). Non-accredited industry training is issued with an EESI Certificate of Completion.

EESI is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 46127). Nationally recognised training applies where a course lists units of competency. Where a course is non-accredited industry training, that is clearly stated on the course page.

Statements of Attainment do not expire, but some units — first aid in particular — have industry-recommended refresh periods. Industry accreditation schemes also require ongoing CPD, which our CPD Refresher Course is designed to cover.

Complete the CPD points required by your accreditation scheme each period. The Insulation Installer CPD Refresher Course is built to deliver the full CPD requirement in a single day.

Yes. Any EESI course can be delivered as employer group training, on your site or at a venue you nominate, scheduled around your operations. Request group training and our team will scope it with you.

EESI has a documented complaints and appeals process. Submit your complaint or appeal in writing to info@eesi.edu.au and we will acknowledge and progress it in line with our published policy.

EESI collects only the information required to deliver and report training, and handles it in line with the Privacy Act and our privacy policy. Nationally recognised training data is reported to the national VET regulator as required by law.
