Enrolment information

What you receive before enrolling, and how enrolment is confirmed.

Before you enrol

Before enrolment, students receive clear information about:

  • Learning outcomes and units for the course
  • Delivery mode and location
  • Duration and expected commitment
  • Entry requirements
  • Fees, charges and refund arrangements
  • Unique Student Identifier (USI) requirements
  • Learner support available
  • Recognition of prior learning and credit transfer — not currently offered
  • Complaints and appeals processes
  • Expected standards of conduct

Training and assessment does not guarantee employment or other personal outcomes. RPL and credit transfer are not currently offered; if they become available, the process and any charges will be confirmed in writing before you incur them.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

A USI is required for AQF certification from nationally recognised training. You can create or find your USI at usi.gov.au.

Confirming your enrolment

Enrolment is not confirmed until evidence and USI requirements are met. Once they are, EESI issues a written enrolment confirmation setting out your course, dates, fees and payment stages.

Individual prepaid fees for the same VET course will not exceed $1,500 at any time. Where a course fee is higher (for example, the Certified Insulation Installer Course at $2,200), payment is staged (for example, $1,500 then $700) as set out in the enrolment confirmation and on the course fees page. Refund arrangements are set out on the fees, charges & refunds page.

Sponsored and EEG-funded students

Students enrolled under an employer or EEG sponsorship arrangement receive the same accurate pre-enrolment information and the same fair, valid assessment as any other student.

Training recognition: Energy Efficiency Skills Institute is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 46127). Nationally recognised training is delivered only where a course is listed as accredited or includes nationally recognised units of competency. Some short courses may be non-accredited industry training.
